Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort is one of Ireland's leading 5 star castle properties tucked into the natural seclusion of its 840 acre estate and set beside the picturesque village of Adare in Co. Limerick. It is a 40 minute drive from Shannon International Airport. The estate is the perfect base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney Lakes, Dingle Peninsula and Blarney Castle. The hotel and golf course are located in an attractive 840 acre estate, featuring sweeping parklands, cultivated gardens, formal French gardens, mature trees and the river Maigue, one of Ireland’s finest trout rivers. The hotel is a member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the world organization and it is easy to see why. It is a highly impressive hotel and the course is one of Irelands best kept secrets. The hotel is housed in an impressive Manor House once owned by the Earl of Dunraven. It was built in the 1830’s to the English model but with a number of eccentricities, including a turreted entrance tower at one corner of the building rather than in the centre, 52 chimneys (one to commemorate each week of the year). 75 fireplaces and 365 leaded glass windows (one for each day of the year).
