Pita Maha Resort was open on the 1st December 1995. The 24 traditional Balinese bales are landscaped facing east across the side of a ravine and designed in classical Balinese style.The Pita Maha lives and breathes like an organic and living village. The standard of work manship in carving, thatching, woodcarving and stone with powerful Balinese palaces. It also has the elegance, modern conveniences and luxury expected by the international traveller.
The ambience created of Bali from earlier days is a striking achievement of the architect, who is a member of the Royal Family of the Ubud Palace. The standard of workmanship, in carving, thatching, wood carving and stone befits that of only the most ancient and powerful Balnese Palaces.
